Discover fire

June 2k20 I helped disarm a white male on the corner of sw 4th and Salmon, he discharged his weapon once in my presence. A second shot was fired as i circled the block to get behind him and the crowd, the second shot hit a young mans leg.
After the weapon was secured, I sat in front of the Justice Center. I was approached by various people about the force i used and others wanted to purchase it. I apologized to the woman who i shoved and expressed the volatility of the situation.. she for as small as she was should not have been involved or arguing about why she was shoved in the first place.
I had considered keeping the weapon for myself but there’s a reason I don’t keep a gun, so after a month or so passed and sharing this information with a friend.. we decided it would be best that i relinquish control of this weapon to the police. My friend took into police headquarters for my safety.
I learned tonight that the same man who was shot that day was killed by Fed or police later on this year.
I want you, who ever you are to consider the dangers you face. Not just from the police but the foolish and or uninformed acts of your peers. This whole fiasco.. the protest, could have been carried out much differently and with much less violence; especially here in Portland.. MAINLY HERE IN PORTLAND!!
I am proud of you all but I am highly disappointed, but who am I, a disappointment to myself but I have Gods will… how fortunate I did not act out as most did and Portland could have seen much more damage had I acted on my own rage.
We are not our forefathers, we are educated.. misguided as we may be but we have ALL the tools within our reach to do and be better people. There was a military presence during a major part of those protest, this was not all of Portland’s will, this was all a distraction and some paid with their life to be heard. Change isn’t all about civil disobedience, using hate against hate doesn’t fix the problem of racial inequality. Grassroots work is just that, in the grass, on your feet, social interaction, talking to your neighbor and evaluating who YOU are as an individual.
We all need to take a good look at ourselves and think, think about what it is we’re fighting for, who we’re fighting for and what we’re fighting against. it is in our power to do so much more but you must be willing to sit with one another, as people.
We are entering a technological golden age, will you be a slave to it? Open you mind again!!
Relight the fire caveman and woman.

There are some details I’ve forgotten and i know this random note deserves some editing but I’m going to end with this…. while others will tell you the necessary info you need to understand the logical side of all this… the bottom line is this… its time we all grew the fuck up. I’m a fool, I know but it’s time you stop acting like children.
